摘要
无论思想还是行为,孔子都坚持“过犹不及”的中庸原则,他既反对“不仁”,也反对“过仁”。然而在其后的儒学发展中,由于内部与外部的双重原因,孔子仁义标准进入一个不断被拔高的过程。过度拔高仁义使其失去了可实践性,只能成为可以仰视却无法企及的海市蜃楼。这种揠苗助长式的拔高,一方面使儒家思想因无法取信于人而逐步式微,另一方面在社会生活中也产生诸多弊端。因此要回归孔子中庸原则,避免过仁虚谈,重新恢复儒学生机。
In both thought and behavior,Confucius adhered to the principle of“too much of a good thing”.He opposed both“unrighteousness”and“excessive righteousness”.However,in the later development of Confucianism,due to both internal and external reasons,Confucius’standard of benevolence and righteousness has been continuously elevated.Excessive elevation makes benevolence and righteousness lose practicability,and can only become a mirage that can be looked up but can not be reached.On the one hand,this over-development makes Confucianism gradually decline because it can not be trusted by people.On the other hand,it also produces many disadvantages in social life.Therefore,it is necessary to return to the Confucian doctrine of the mean,avoid excessive righteousness,and restore the vitality of Confucianism.
