The Development Path and Epochal Value of Revolution-themed Films——Based on Studies on the Film History since the Yan’an Literature and Art Symposium in 1942

1942年5月延安文艺座谈会之后,红色电影作为中国共产党领导下独具特色的文化产品,在革命、建设、改革各个历史时期呈现不同的发展特征。改革开放以来面对国际竞争与商业化竞争的多重挑战,为适应新时代传播路径,红色电影在叙事手法、内容重构、媒介交互等方面与时俱进,更好地成为服务人民、弘扬社会主义核心价值观及中国共产党人的精神谱系,展现国际形象提高软实力的国家名片。

Since the Yan’an Literature and Art Symposium in May 1942,as a unique cultural product under the leadership of the Communist Party of China,revolution-themed films have shown different development characteristics in each historical period of revolution,construction and reform. Since the reform and opening up,revolution-themed films have been faced with multiple challenges of international competition and commercial competition. In order to adapt to the communication path of the new era,they have kept pace with the times in narrative techniques,content reconstruction,media interaction,etc. so as to become a national business card for better serving the people and promoting society,highlighting the socialist core values and the spiritual pedigree of the Chinese Communists as well as showing the international image and improving soft power.
