新中国成立以来中共纪念辛亥革命的政治内涵与当代价值

The Political Connotation and Contemporary Value of the CPC’s Commemorations for the Revolution of 1911 Since the Founding of the People’s Republic of China

纪念活动具有独特的政治作用,是中共表达政治主张的有效途径。新中国成立以来,中共对辛亥革命的六次纪念活动呈现出周期性与广泛性、政治性与动员性、继承性与时代性相结合的历史特点,具有深刻的政治内涵和重要的当代价值。其政治内涵主要有三个方面:一是构建独特的纪念话语,肯定辛亥革命的历史地位;二是宣传党的政治主张,促进爱国统一战线工作;三是继承先辈革命遗志,推动中国特色社会主义建设。其当代价值表现在:有利于还原历史本真,总结经验教训;有利于铸牢中华民族共同体意识,促进祖国统一;有利于实现民族复兴伟大事业。

Commemorative activity plays a unique political role,which is an effective way for the CPC to express its political views.After the founding of the People’s Republic of China,the Party’s six commemorations for the Revolution of 1911 showed the historical characteristics of the combination of periodicity and breadth,politics and mobilization,inheritance and the times,and had profound political connotations and important contemporary values.The political connotations mainly include three aspects:the first is to construct commemorative discourse to affirm the status of the Revolution of 1911;The second is to publicize political views to promote the patriotic united front;The third is to inherit the revolutionary will,so as to promote the building of the Socialism with Chinese characteristics.As for the contemporary value,they are reflected in the following three points:Being conducive to restoring historical truth and summing up experience and lessons;Being conducive to strengthen the consciousness of the Chinese national community and promote the reunification of the motherland;Being conductive to realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
