福建省高校老年教育办学现状与实现路径研究

Research on the Status Quo and Realization Path of Senior Citizen Education in Colleges and Universities in Fujian Province

福建省是全国较早开展老年教育的省份之一,但是受制于思想认识不足、师资不足、办学经费不足,课程设置单一及没有完善的教学质量监督机制,福建省高校参与老年教育的积极性并不高,目前仅有约20所高校兴办老年教育。高校虽然拥有丰富的教育资源,但没有发挥其服务社会和国家的职能,高校应提高老年教育办学思想认识,加强师资队伍和学科建设,以需求为导向设置课程,保障办学经费,完善办学质量监督机制,政府应鼓励和推动福建省高校兴办老年教育,以缓解日益严峻的老年教育供需矛盾,促进福建省老年教育更好更快的发展。

Fujian is one of the earliest provinces in China to carry out senior citizen education.Due to inadequate understanding,faculty deficiency,shortage of school funding,monotonous curriculum and poorly designed teaching quality supervision mechanism,only around 20 colleges and universities in Fujian have set up senior citizen education.Measures should be taken to remedy the situation.Universities and Colleges should make greater efforts in deepening their understanding,equipping teaching faculty,reconstructing disciplines,designing curriculum and improving quality supervision mechanism.The government should encourage and promote colleges and universities in Fujian to set up senior citizen education in order to alleviate the increasingly serious contradiction between supply and demand of senior citizen education,thus further enhancing a better and faster development of senior citizen education in Fujian.
