基于HALCON的汽车牌照识别技术研究

Research on Vehicle License Plate Recognition Technology Based on HALCON

车牌识别在智慧交通系统中发挥着非常重要的作用,基于HALCON机器视觉软件设计了汽车牌照识别系统。车牌图像的识别过程主要包括图像的加载与预处理、ROI的确定、寻找算子和确定参数。对含有较复杂汉字的车牌照片进行了识别实验,实验结果表明所提出的算法识别精度较高,达到了应用要求。

License plate recognition plays a very important role in the intelligent transportation system. The license plate recognition system is designed based on HALCON machine vision software. The recognition process of license plate image mainly includes: image loading and preprocessing, ROI determination, search operator, and parameter determination. Recognition experiments are carried out on license plate photos containing more complex Chinese characters. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm has high recognition accuracy and meets the application requirements.
