Objective:To explore the effects of proprioception training on self-efficacy,joint pain and exercise performance in elderly patients with rheumatoid arthritis. Methods:A total of 121 elderly patients with rheumatoid arthritis who were treated in our department from December 2018 to October 2020 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into a control group(n=60)and an observation group(n=61).The control group was given staged exercise training, and the observation group was given proprioception training. After 4 weeks, the self-efficacy level, pain degree and exercise ability of the two groups were compared before and after the intervention. Results:TAfter the intervention, the self-efficacy level of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05);the total number of rest pain and painful joints in the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the morning stiffness time of the observation group was shorter than the control group(P<0.05);The pace and length of the observation group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05),and the dual-support phase observation group was lower than the control group(P<0.05);the balance ability of the observation group was lower than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Proprioceptive training is applied to elderly patients with rheumatoid arthritis by improving the patient’s self-efficacy and reducing the patient’s pain, thereby effectively improving the patient’s exercise capacity.
