四川隆昌恐龙化石发现、埋藏特征与价值意义

Discovery,burial characteristics and significance of dinosaur fossils in Longchang City,Sichuan Province

2021年10月18日隆昌市古湖街道春光村5社向阳路东二段路基施工中,在切割石方作业时发现隆昌恐龙化石,庚即隆昌市政府采取有效措施,对化石进行24小时的守值保护。随后,部省派出专家组到现场进行考察和评估,确立是一具保存比较完整的具有较好关联性的小-中型蜥脚类恐龙,产于侏罗纪上沙溪庙组下部青灰色砂岩中,是隆昌市首次发现的完整恐龙化石。笔者两次到现场,对化石埋藏地地层岩性、沉积环境进行考察,剖析其埋藏特征,提出属高能沉积环境下的原地埋藏结论,这对研究四川盆地形成演化、中上侏罗统断代划分、侏罗纪时期恐龙的系统演化和古生态、古环境等具有极高的科学价值和国际对比意义。由隆昌恐龙化石、完整的中下侏罗统地层剖面、隆昌铁陨石,以及石化圣地圣灯山(圣灯“奇观”、隆昌气矿炭黑厂旧址、水气同一的温泉井)组成的核心地质遗迹景观群,具有极大的国家地质公园的潜值,对隆昌文化和旅游发展起着有极大的促进作用。隆昌恐龙必将成为隆昌市的又一名片。

On October 18,2021,Longchang dinosaur fossil was found during stone cutting in the subgrade construction of the East Second section of Xiangyang Road,5 Community of Chunguang Village,Guhu Street,Longchang City.Longchang Municipal government took effective measures to protect the fossils for 24 hours.Based on the investigattion and evaluation,the experts thought that it was a relatively well-preserved small-medium sauropod dinosaur,which was located in the gray sandstone,lower of the Upper Shaximiao Formation in Jurassic period.it was the first complete dinosaur fossil found in Longchang City.The author made two investigations on the lithology and sedimentary environment of the buried site of the fossil,analyzed its burial characteristics,and put forward the conclusion that the fossil was buried in situ in high-energy sedimentary environment.It is of great scientific value and international comparative significance for the study of the formation and evolution of the Sichuan Basin,the division of the Middle and Upper Jurassic,the systematic evolution,palaeoecology and palaeoenvironment of dinosaurs in the Jurassic.The geological relics landscape group,including dinosaur fossils,the middle and lower Jurassic strata section,the iron meteorites,and holy light mountain(the holy light "wonders",gas field site,the hot spring) have a great national geological park potential,which plays a great role in promoting the development of Longchang culture and tourism.Longchang dinosaur will become another card of Longchang city.
