Taking Geochemical Endemic Diseases as a Breakthrough to Promote the Rapid Development of Medical Geology in China

环境因素对人体健康和疾病的发生有着重要影响。目前,医学地质学作为一门新兴学科,正处于迅猛发展阶段,并且在人类谋求人与自然和谐发展的进程中,医学地质学的重要性将与日俱增。以地球化学性地方病为突破口,深入探讨了医学地质学研究在地球化学性地方病防控中发挥的作用,并指出医学地质学研究中存在的薄弱环节及未来的发展方向,从而推动我国医学地质学快速发展。

Environmental factors play an important role in human health and disease occurrence.At present,as a new discipline,medical geology is in the stage of rapid development,and in the process of human beings seeking harmonious development between man and nature.The importance of medical geology will increase steadily.Taking geochemical endemic diseases as a breakthrough,this paper deeply discusses the role of medical geological research in the prevention and control of geochemical endemic diseases,and points out the weak links in medical geological research and the direction of development in the future to promote the rapid development of medical geology in China.
