新时代主题出版物编辑要提高政治素质和政治理论水平,充分认识主题出版工作服务于党和国家工作大局的重要意义,严把图书质量关。编辑还应当不断提升专业素质,提高关注现实、跟踪政策的能力,提高学术研究能力,培养扎实的语言文字能力,不断增强校对能力和利用现代信息技术的能力,最终实现编辑综合素质的提升,提高编辑技能;完善编辑人才素质提升的体制机制,建设适应新时代重点主题出版发展要求的高素质编辑人才队伍。
