The Development of Digital Industry and Urban Economic Resilience

数字产业发展与城市经济韧性是城市经济可持续发展的重要命题。本文探讨数字产业发展对城市经济韧性的影响及其作用机制。理论上,通过构成要素将数字产业纳入影响城市经济韧性的因素中,构建“一个要素两条渠道”的分析框架,从结构优化的角度揭示了数字产业发展与城市经济韧性的内在机理和逻辑联系。实证研究结论显示:(1)数字产业发展对城市经济韧性具有促进效应,即数字产业发展水平越高的城市应对冲击的能力越强;(2)数字产业发展对城市经济韧性会因城市区位和政府引导的不同而表现出异质性,相对而言,东部地区、大数据综合试验区城市数字产业发展的促进效应更大;(3)数字产业发展对城市经济韧性的影响主要通过产业结构优化和劳动力结构优化两条渠道进行响应。本文识别出数字产业发展驱动城市经济韧性的塑造,有助于厘清数字产业发展的实际经济效应及作用机理。

The development of digital industry and urban economic resilience are important propositions for sustainable urban economic development.This paper discusses the impact of digital industry development on urban economic resilience to answer the reasons of why the country’s digital industry development and economic resilience are positively correlated and explore the mechanism.In theory,incorporate the digital industry into the factors that affect urban economic resilience through its constituent elements to build an analytical framework with one element and two channels.The internal mechanism and logical connection between the development of digital industries and urban economic resilience are revealed from the perspective of structural optimization.The conclusions show that,the development of digital industry has a promoting effect on urban economic resilience,that is,the higher the level of digital industry development,the stronger the ability of cities to cope with shocks.Secondly,the impact of digital industry development on urban economic resilience shows heterogeneity due to different urban locations and government guidance.The promotion effect of digital industries development in eastern regions and big data comprehensive experimental areas is relatively greater.Thirdly,the mechanisms by which digital industry development affect urban economic resilience are the optimization of industrial structure and labor structure.This paper identifies the fact that urban economic resilience is driven by the development of digital industry,which helps clarify the actual economic effects and mechanisms of the development of digital industry.
