摘要
本文基于2010—2020年粤港澳大湾区11个城市的面板数据,采用空间面板模型实证分析了新型基础设施建设对粤港澳大湾区经济一体化发展的影响及作用机制。研究发现,无论是使用经济距离还是使用地理距离作为空间权重,粤港澳大湾区经济发展的空间关联性逐渐增强,经济一体化水平不断提高;新型基础设施建设对粤港澳大湾区经济发展有促进作用且表现出空间溢出性,能够推进经济一体化进程;这一结论在替换经济变量、工具变量回归等稳健性检验后仍然成立。机制检验表明,城市边界效应和技术创新对粤港澳大湾区的经济发展也存在空间溢出效应,是新基建推动粤港澳大湾区经济一体化发展的重要渠道。
Based on the city data in the Great Bay Area(GBA)of Guangdong,Hong Kong and Macao from 2010 to 2020,using the two spatial weights of economic distance and geographical distance,this paper analyzes the influence and mechanism of new infrastructure construction on the economic integration of the GBA by using the spatial panel model.It is found that whether economic distance or geographical distance is used as the spatial weight,the spatial relevance of economic development in Great Bay Area is gradually strengthened,and the economic integration is steady improved;The construction of new infrastructure plays a vital role in enhancing the integration of GBA.This conclusion is still robust after replacing economic variables and using instrumental variables regression.The mechanism test shows that the urban boundary effect and technological innovation also have spatial spillover effect on the economic development of GBA,which is an important channel for the new infrastructure to promote the economic integration of GBA.
