Homogeneity Exploration:An Analysis on Confucianism and Taoism Production Thoughts in Pre-Qin Period From Perspective of Ecolog

在生态学视角下,先秦儒道生产思想的同质性特征较为明显:一方面,两者都有异常清醒的生态认知,看到“天行有常”的内在规律,强调“知常曰明”之生态理性的重要性。另一方面,两者都以实际行动践行生态理念,坚持“无夺农时”的时令响应、放弃违背自然之道的“伎巧”、坚守羞而不为的实践立场。知行合一也成为先秦儒道生态生产思想的突出特点。先秦儒道生态生产思想之所以产生这种同质性,背后的缘由有三:两者皆秉持天人合一的整体主义思维模式;在社会转型背景下、站在微弱个体的立场,两者都采取了相同的理性抉择;较低生产力发展水平下,两者的直觉式体验实践方式相同。先秦儒道生态生产思想对当前中国的生态文明建设有重要的借鉴意义:唯有知行合一,把坚持清醒理念认知与实践操作结合起来,方可事半功倍。

At present,the construction of ecological civilization is in the ascendant,the concept of green development is deeply rooted in people’s hearts,and the strategic goal of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality is China’s solemn commitment to the international community.Taking history as a mirror,we can know the rise and fall.Against this background,discussion around the ecological wisdom of traditional civilization and the sustainable development has become increasingly popular.Confucianism and Taoism are two representative schools in the origin of Chinese traditional civilization,and it is necessary to conduct an in-depth analysis of their ecological production thoughts from a comparative perspective.However,relevant analyses in the current academic circle is relatively insufficient.By means of comparative analysis,this paper preliminarily sorts out the homogeneity production thought of Confucianism and Taoism in Pre-Qin Period,analyzes the reasons for homogeneity,and explains its contemporary value from the ecological perspective.It is found that in the view of ecology,the homogeneity of Confucianism and Taoism production thoughts in Pre-Qin Period is more obvious.On the one hand,both of them boast a clear ecological cognition,indicate the nature’s internal laws of motion in its own way,and emphasize the importance of the ecological rationality of knowing the natural laws.On the other hand,both of them practice the ecological concept with practical actions.They insist on producing according to the solar terms and giving up skills against the Tao of Nature.The unity of knowledge and practice has also become a prominent feature of the ecological production thoughts of Confucianism and Taoism scholars in Pre-Qin Period.There are three reasons about the homogeneity of Confucianism and Taoism ecological production thoughts in Pre-Qin Period.First,both of them hold the holistic thinking mode of the unity of man and nature.Second,against the background of rapid social transformation,both of them have taken the same rational choice from the standpoint of weak individuals.Third,at a lower level of productivity development,both of them have the same intuitive experiential way of doing things.The ecological production thoughts of Confucianism and Taoism in Pre-Qin Period are of reference significance for the current construction of ecological civilization in China.Specifically,only by adhering to the unity of knowledge and practice can we achieve good results.This paper expands previous literature in the following two aspects.First,it focuses on the homogeneity of the ecological economic thoughts of Confucianism and Taoism in Pre-Qin Period from an ecological perspective and conducts a systematic comparative analysis,enriching existing studies on research perspective.Second,it does not stop at the homogeneity analysis of the ecological economic thoughts of Confucianism and Taoism in Pre-Qin Period.Instead,it deeply analyzes the reasons behind the homogeneity from three dimensions on this basis,expanding the interpretation boundary of the comparative analysis of homogeneity.This paper reveals the ecological wisdom contained in the production thoughts of Confucianism and Taoism in Pre-Qin Period and the reason for this homogeneous ecological wisdom.The current government can draw ecological wisdom from it and further promote the construction of China’s ecological civilization from ecological cognition and ecological practice.
