“工会问题争论”是俄共(布)探索社会主义社会建设的标志性事件,也是俄共(布)历史上规模空前、异常激烈的大论战,对俄共(布)党内政治生活和工会建设产生深远影响。托洛茨基的错误主张是该争论发生的直接原因,但更深层次的原因在于党执政经验的不足,缺乏解决党内矛盾的有力措施。争论以“工会国家化”为核心,围绕工会在社会主义条件下的地位、任务及作用展开,为新经济政策历史条件下构建社会主义时期工会理论体系奠定了坚实的理论基础,但也埋下了削弱党内民主、官办工会等隐患。这场争论在马克思主义工会学发展史中占有重要地位,对马克思主义工会学发展具有重要意义。
