神话搜集整理是民间文学学术史的重要组成部分,以杨成志、陶云逵、雷金流、马学良、楚图南、徐嘉瑞等主要学者为代表的20世纪上半叶云南彝族神话搜集整理研究,建立在田野调查的基础上,运用人类学、民俗学、语言学、历史学等多学科理论进行阐释,采用文本搜集整理、文本与民俗互释的研究方法,开创了神话学研究的新范式。神话是民族精神的表征和来源,20世纪上半叶云南彝族神话搜集整理研究,作为多民族国家想象的方式和边地问题的解决策略之一,以现代知识生产方式,成为多民族国家建构的重要话语实践。

The collection and arrangement of the myths of Yi ethnic group is an important part of the academic history of folk literature. The collection and research work in the first half of the 20 th century, represented by scholars such as Yang Chengzhi, Tao Yunkui, Ma Xueliang, was based on field investigations. By applying interdisciplinary theories of anthropology, folklore, linguistics, and history, etc., and the research methods of text collection and arrangement and mutual interpretation of texts and folk customs, a new paradigm of mythological research was created. Myth is an important source of national spirit, containing spirit and power. In the first half of the 20 th century, the collection, arrangement and research of myths of Yi ethnic group in Yunnan, as a modern knowledge production mode, became an important discourse in the construction of a multi-ethnic country by means of the imagination of a multi-ethnic country and the solution of border and land problems.
