《书言故事大全》编刊新考:以音注语音特点与音系性质为中心

A New Research on the Compiling of Shu Yan Gu Shi Da Quan:Centered on Its Feature of Phonetic Notation and Its Phonetic System

通过分析今存明刊本《书言故事大全》音注可以发现,其语音特点与其刊刻地新安休邑(今安徽休宁)的方言语音特点高度一致,而与建阳方言、明代南京官话音及今南京方言、明代北京官话音及今北京方言都具有较多而又难以解释的不同,这说明此书的最初编刊地点确为新安休邑,而非建阳书坊为射利而伪托著名书肆刊本、造作伪序、自抬身价炮制的伪书。建阳郑子杰刊本《京本音释注解书言故事大全》、世德堂刊本《新刊训解直音书言故事大全》均是以吴怀保刊本为底本的翻刻产物,郑子杰在书名前冠以“京本”之名的做法没有版本依据。

Through the analysis of the phonetic notes in the exist Ming versions of Shu Yan Gu Shi Da Quan,we can found that the phonetic features of this book is highly consistent with that of Xiu county in Xin’an(today’s Xiu Ning in Anhui Province)where this book was first published.It also has quite some unexplainable differences compared with Jian Yang dialects,the official accent of Nanjing in Ming dynasty or today’s Nanjing dialect,the official Beijing accent in Ming dynasty and today’s Beijing dialect.This indicates that the book was indeed first published in Xin’an.It is not a fabricated book created by the book sellers in Jianyang for the purpose of earning money and fishing fame.Jiantang Zheng Zijie’s version and Shi De Tang version are all piratic versions based on Wu Huaibao’s original version.Zheng Zijie’s mark of“Capital Version”on the book title has no evidence.
