传统孝德思想蕴含着丰富的生命意识。尊祖敬宗是对生命本源的追问,悦亲敬养体现了对自我生命的珍视,立身行道是对生命价值的追求,延嗣有后是对生命死亡意识的超越。挖掘传统孝德中内含的生命意识,弘扬传统孝德,在留得住乡愁的城镇化建设中,对于缓解现代流动性、断裂化、更新性产生的焦虑不安,安顿人们的心灵家园、满足人们的归属感,具有一定的意义和价值。

Traditional filial piety contains rich life consciousness. Respecting ancestors means search for the origin of life, loving and caring for relatives respect for life of the self, filial piety the pursuit of the value of life, and the breeding descendants the transcendence of death. In this light, to explain the life consciousness contained in the traditional filial piety and carrying forward the traditional filial piety is significant for alleviating the anxiety caused by the modern mobility, fragmentation and constant change, and it helps to place human spirit and satisfy their need for belonging in the urbanization tinted with nostalgia.
