Life and Death Are Wearing Me Out depicts the vicissitudes of the world from the perspective of Ximen Nao’s reincarnation,presenting a bizarre and extraordinary imitative narration structure.Parody performs the function of reflecting the narrative theme of the fiction.This paper intends to explore the highlighted intentional content and the conveyed intentional attitude as well as the salient reference during the generation of parody in Life and Death Are Wearing Me Out from the dimension of intentionality of philosophy of mind and cognitive reference point and the methods of Goldblatt to reproduce the rhetorical device in his translation.
