汪宗沂主讲敬敷书院时间及相关问题考论

Textual Research on the Time When Wang Zongyi Served as the Keynote Lecturer at Jing Fu Academy and the Related Questions

刘师培、章梫等撰汪宗沂传均记汪氏曾任敬敷书院山长,清代硃卷士人履历也载有汪氏主讲敬敷书院的信息,唯时间不够确切。结合史料可考知,汪氏辞幕返乡后,先后主讲碧阳书院(1887-1889)、紫阳书院(1890-1894)、中江书院(1895-1897),最后短暂掌教敬敷书院(1898-1900)。从汪氏返乡主讲书院时考查,先后任敬敷书院山长的有桂迓衡、崔国因、崔澄、赵曾重、黄体芳、余诚格等,可为考证汪宗沂主讲时间提供依据。后期于荫霖在书院山长外另聘学长,苏求庄、胡元吉、阮强等学长为书院的发展作出了贡献。

The biographies of Wang Zongyi written by Liu Shipei and Zhang Qin recorded he served as the lecturer of Jing Fu Academy.The same information was recorded in the scholars’ resumes of the honour roll in the Qin dynasty.Only the time information is not accurate enough.A textual research based on the historical data finds Wang Zongyi served as the keynote lecturer at Bi Yang Academy(1887-1889),Zi Yang Academy(1890-1894),Zhong Jiang Academy(1895-1897) after he resigned his post and returned to his hometown.He also took charge of Jing Fu Academy for a short time(1898-1900).Gui Yaheng, Cui Guoyin, Cui Cheng, Zhao Cengzhong, Huang Tifang, Yu Chengge, et al, successively served as lecturer of Jing Fu Academy since Wang Zongyi returned to his hometown to give lectures at the academy, which can provide a basis for verifying the time when Wang Zongyi served as the keynote lecturer.In the later period, Yu Yinlin appointed other deans in addition to the lecturer of the academy.Su Qiuzhuang, Hu Yuanji, Ruan Qiang and other deans made contributions to the development of the academy.
