摘要
内拉·拉森在《流沙》中塑造的黑白混血人物海尔嘉历来被评论界解读为双重人格分裂、种族伦理混乱的“悲剧混血儿”。但从德鲁兹和瓜塔里游牧理论视角来看,海尔嘉的黑白混血身份是对种族主义编码的超越,她的不断地空间位移是彻底地解辖域化游牧运动,她的口吃和沉默是对定义她的白人权力话语的破坏和颠覆。她是德鲁兹所倡导的不断从“纹理化空间”驶向“平滑空间”的“游牧民”。
Helga,the mulatto character portrayed by Nella Larsen in her Quicksand has always been interpreted in the circle of literary criticism as"a tragic mulatto"who has a dual personality and confused racial ethic.However,from the perspective of Deleuze and Guattari's nomadic theory,Helga's biracial identity as a mulatto is the transcendence of racist coding.Her constant spatial displacements are the nomadic movements of thorough deterritorialization.Her stammer and silence mark the destruction and subversion of the whites'power discourse that defines her.She is a Deleuzian"nomad"who keeps moving from"the textured space"to"the smooth space".
