摘要
原料WC粉末粒度是影响WC-Co硬质合金微观结构和性能的关键因素,目前仍没有一个完全精确的方法用于测量亚微WC粉末粒度。本研究采用静态图像分析法得到亚微WC粉末颗粒尺寸,并针对WC06和WC08两种粉末粒度进行表征分析,测得平均颗粒尺寸分别为0.40μm和0.42μm,表明两者一次颗粒粒径相差不大,WC06和WC08是传统粒度测试方法下分类的产物。同时将该结果与常规粒度测试方法(费氏粒度法、比表面积法和激光衍射法)以及常用静态图像分析技术(扫描电镜法、电子背散射衍射法)进行对比分析。结果表明,静态图像分析法能在很大程度上消除团聚的二次颗粒的影响,能迅速完成图像处理,并对粉末颗粒粒度进行定量表征。
The particle size of raw WC powder is a key factor affecting the microstructure and properties of WC-Co cemented carbide, but no accurate method is available to measure the particle size of submicron WC powder. In this study, the static image analysis method was used to calculate the particle size of submicron WC powder, and the particle size of WC06and WC08 was characterized and analyzed, with the average particle size being 0.40 μm and 0.42 μm, respectively. It shows that there is little difference in particle size of the two primary particles, and WC06 and WC08 are the products of traditional particle size tests. Meanwhile, the results were compared with those of the conventional particle size test methods(i.e., the Fisher sub-sieve size(FSSS) method, specific surface area method, and laser diffraction method) and those of common static image analysis techniques(i.e., scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and electron backscatter diffraction(EBSD)). The results reveal that the static image analysis method can eliminate the influence of agglomerated secondary particles to a large extent,and it can quickly complete image processing and quantitatively characterize the particle size of powder particles.
