In the history of deaf education in new China,countless people have made great efforts for it,which constitutes a magnificent poem of Special education in China.Zhao Xi’an,who has worked in Xuzhou special education front for many years,is a flag of deaf education development since the reform and opening-up.He has devoted himself to teaching for a long time,relying on hard work and unremitting pursuit,and has become a national famous special education expert.He not only fought hard for the status of sign language but also actively advocated bilingual bicultural teaching,researched and promoted the new curriculum reform of special education school,leaving a wonderful education chapter in the history of deaf education in China.
