摘要
王迟发表的文章《失序的解读——谈学界对西方动画纪录片理论的接受》对不认同所谓“动画纪录片”的观念进行了批评,坚持认为这是一个在西方被普遍接受的概念,没有例外。其实在作者提到的案例中便有许多批评的意见。文章又认为“纪实动画”与“动画纪录片”这两个概念没有差别,这也就意味着“动画片”和“纪录片”没有差别,有悖于一般的电影分类常识。文章最后把批评延伸到纪录片的领域,认为中国纪录片30年来的纪实传统应该被“清除”,从而否定了我国改革开放以来纪录片所取得的成就。文章作者从动画到纪录片一以贯之的理念来自于西方后现代主义纪录片理论的世界观和价值观,这种观念不承认世界的实在性、客观性和真理性,因而导致了相关问题的争论长年悬而不决,从根本上来说,不仅是对事物认知的差异,同时也是立场与观念的根本不同。
In his article"Interpretating Order:On the Acceptance of Western Theories of Animated Documentary in Academia".Wang Chi criticized those who disavow the concept of"animated documentary"and insisted that it its widespread acceptance in the West.In reality,the cases cited by the author alrcady contain disagreeing comments.Moreover,the article holds that there is no difference between"documentary animation and"animated documentary,"implying that"animation"is equivalent 10"documentary.."This statement departs from the common sense of film genres.The article later extends the criticism to the field of documentaries by arguing that the traditional factual documentary films in the past 30 years should all be"eliminated."The author thus denies the achievements of making documentary films in China in the age of reform and opening.Judging from the author's long-held ideas about animation and documentaries,his denial of the world's materiality,objectivity,and truth stems from the worldview and value system derived from the postmodernist theories of making documentaries in the West,causing unending debates on related issues.Such controversies result from not only different cognitive approaches but also contradictory standpoints and conceptions.
