《集韵》文献词义考释举例

Analysis of Word Meaning Recorded in Literature of Jiyun

《集韵》记载了古代汉语丰富的文献词义,其个别释语简短费解,甚至和其自带书证相互抵牾,利用传统训诂学的原理和方法,结合书证及古注对此加以揭示,发现其中既有词语的本义、引申义,又有语境义、假借义,甚至还有沿袭前代辞书中错误的释义。通过对它们中的一部分进行考释疏证,能够弄清像“致”“校”“苹车”等古汉语常用词的语义嬗变过程,纠正传统训诂中的某些疏失,为后世词典编纂可提供参考。

An ancient Chinese dictionary,Jiyun records rich meanings of ancient Chinese documents,but some explanations are short and convoluted,and even contradict their own example sentences.Combined with documentary evidence and ancient annotations,the principles and methods of critical interpretation can be used to reveal the original meanings,extended meanings,contextual meanings,borrowed meanings,and wrong definitions from the previous generation of dictionaries.Through textual researching,the semantic evolution process of ancient Chinese common words is clarified,such as Zhi,Xiao and Ping Che,and correct some errors in traditional interpretation,so as to provide reference for future dictionary compilation.
