Critique of Consumerism from the Perspective of a Better Life

摘要 消费主义创造虚假的需要,诱导人们盲目消费,激发了攀比炫耀的心理,产生了商品与符号的拜物教,造成了人的价值世界的异化与扭曲。绿色消费是一种扬弃消费主义的美好生活方式,倡导可持续发展和共享理念,重建消费主体性,满足了人们对优美生态环境的价值追求,彰显出现代美好社会的基本特征。在资源愈发紧张、人与自然矛盾突出、人们对美好生活向往愈加强烈的新时期,人们应积极践行“更少”和“更好”相结合的绿色消费,这既是让我们避免陷入消费主义陷阱、改善人与自然关系的必需之举,也是我们应对全球生态危机、满足人们日益增长的美好生活需要、构建人类命运共同体的现实之需。 Consumerism creates false needs,makes people consume blindly,encourages people to show off by crazing to vie with each other,produces fetishism of goods,and causes the alienation and distortion of human value world.Green consumption is a new way of life which sublates consumerism.Green consumption advocates the concept of sustainable development and sharing,rebuilds the subjectivity of consumption,meets people’s pursuit of beautiful ecological environment,and shows the basic characteristics of the modern and beautiful society.In the new era when resources are becoming increasingly scarce and the contradiction between man and nature is more prominent,people should actively practice the green consumption which combines“less”and“better”.This is not only a necessary move for us to avoid falling into the trap of consumerism and to improve the relationship between human and nature,but also a practical need for us to address the global ecological crisis,meet the people’s ever-increasing needs for a better life and build a community with a shared future for mankind.
