Research progress of TRPV4 in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases

瞬时受体电位香草素亚型4(TRPV4)是存在于细胞膜或细胞内细胞器膜上的非选择性阳离子通道蛋白,作为Ca^(2+)通透的阳离子选择性通道,TRPV4能调节人体一系列重要的生理功能,包括调节钙信号、保护内皮细胞屏障完整性等,在心血管疾病中发挥重要作用。本文通过查阅、分析TRPV4相关文献,总结其生理和病理功能以及靶向TRPV4通道的新药的进展。

Transient receptor potential vanilloid 4(TRPV4)is a non-selective cation channel protein that exists in the cell membranes or intracellular organelle membranes.As a cation-selective channel permeable to calcium ion,TRPV4 regulates a series of important physiological functions in the body,including regulating calcium signal,protecting the integrity of the endothelial cell barrier,etc.,plays an important role in the cardiovascular diseases.This article reviewed TRPV4 related literature,and summarized its physiological and pathological functions and the development of new drugs targeting TRPV4 channels.
