教育公平是社会公平的基础,以人民为中心是我国教育公平的基础。新时代人民对美好生活的向往赋予了教育公平新的时代内涵——更加公平更高质量的教育。新时代的教育公平追求公平与质量相统一,更加关注人的发展,为每个人提供适合的教育。推进公共教育的均等化、让每个人都有出彩的机会、通过教育精准扶贫阻断贫困的代际传递是推动新时代我国教育公平的重要实践路径。

Educational equity is the basis of social equity,and people-centered education is the basis of China’s educational eq⁃uity.People’s yearning for a better life in the new era endows educational equity with a new connotation which means more equi⁃table and higher quality education.Educational equity in the new era seeks the unity of fairness and quality,pays more attention to human development,and provides suitable education for everyone.Promoting the equalization of public education,giving every⁃one a chance to shine,and blocking the intergenerational transmission of poverty by targeted poverty alleviation in education are major practices to advance education equity in China in the new era.
