针药结合治疗紫色尿袋综合征1例

One case report of purple urinary bag syndrome treated by acupuncture and TCM decoction

紫色尿袋综合征是一种以尿液、尿袋、导尿管颜色改变为紫色的罕见的综合征,是尿路感染的警告信号,其发病机制与色氨酸代谢产生的靛蓝(蓝色)和靛红(红色)这两种色素结合有关,食物中的色氨酸经尿路细菌分解为硫酸吲哚酚,在碱性尿液中转化为靛蓝、靛红,这些色素与导尿管、尿袋中的成分聚氯乙烯发生反应,导致尿液呈紫色。目前国内报道不多。文章报道采用针药结合治疗紫色尿袋综合征患者1例,属中医“淋证”范畴,效果良好,为临床提供治疗新思路。

Purple urine bag syndrome is a rare syndrome characterized by purple urine,urine bag,and catheter,which is a warning sign of a urinary tract infection.Its pathogenesis is related to the combination of two pigments,indigo(blue)and isatin(red),produced by the metabolism of tryptophan.Tryptophan in food is decomposed into indoxyl sulfate by urinary tract bacteria,and is converted into indigo and isatin in alkaline urine.These pigments react with polyvinyl chloride,a component in catheters and urine bags,causing the urine to appear purple.At present,there are not many domestic reports on the disease.In this article,one case of purple urine bag syndrome,which belongs to the category of stranguria in TCM,is treated by acupuncture plus TCM medicine.The effect is good,and it provides a new clinical treatment idea.
