浅谈高希言教授临床透灸法

Professor GAO Xiyan’s clinical experience of treating diseases by penetrating moxibustion

Professor GAO Xiyan,Doctor of Medicine,the leader of acupuncture and moxibustion in Henan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,a famous acupuncture and moxibustion master in Henan Province,is good at using acupuncture and moxibustion to treat various internal,external,and gynecological diseases.He has been engaged in acupuncture and moxibustion teaching and clinical work for more than 30 years.Penetrating moxibustion is a method of moxibustion that Professor GAO Xiyan inherits from many ancient medicinal moxibustion methods based on long-term clinical practice.Professor GAO Xiyan pays more attention to the intensity of moxibustion,and believes that only giving enough moxibustion can reach the lesion location.Therefore,the penetrating moxibustion method is given based on the patient s body reaction(sweat,flushing,and variegation)when the amount of moxibustion is sufficient.It has the functions of penetrating the skin,dredging the meridians and regulating Qi(气)and blood.Penetrating moxibustion can not only cause moxibustion response but not form moxibustion scars,it can produce the therapeutic effects of scar moxibustion and suppurative moxibustion without affecting appearance and daily activities.And it has the advantages of simplicity,convenience,low cost,and efficiency,and is worthy of being widely used in clinical practice.The following is a description of penetrating moxibustion,the innovation of penetrating moxibustion,and the clinical application of penetrating moxibustion,and the specific clinical application of penetrating moxibustion is discussed by analyzing typical medical records.
