人际互动与社会地位获得——基于析因调查实验的研究 被引量:4

Interpersonal Interaction and Social Status Attainment:A Factorial Survey Experiment Study

摘要 依循人际互动视角,本文提出地位转换命题、相似吸引命题和资源交换命题,并基于随机对照的析因调查实验,研究先赋与自致两类属性因素与青年群体社会地位获得(同龄人的接纳与认可程度)之间的因果机制。实证结论如下:第一,个人自致因素(如进取精神)能够转换为被同龄群体接纳和认可的社会地位,而先赋因素在该过程中发挥调节功能;第二,无论自致因素还是先赋因素,与所在群体越相似,则越容易被该群体接纳和认可;第三,微弱迹象表明,先赋地位较高者亦更可能被自致因素较高的同龄群体所接纳和认可。综合来看,青年人在同龄群体中社会地位获得的主要机制为个人的自致因素及其同质性。该发现意味着,对于如何实现社会地位的获得、如何获取社会成员的接纳与认可,我国青年群体存有共识。 From the perspective of interpersonal interaction,this paper proposes the principle of status conversion,the principle of similarity attraction,and the principle of resource exchange.It explores the causal mechanisms of ascribed factors/achieved factors to influence social status attainment(social acceptance)among Chinese young adults,using a large-sample randomised factorial survey experiment.Empirical findings are concluded as follows:firstly,the achieved factors(for instance,hardworking spirit)can generate social acceptance in their peer group,with ascribed factors serving as a moderator;secondly,the higher similarity to the group,either in the ascribed or the achieved status,leads to higher social acceptance in the peer group;thirdly,weak evidence shows that young adults with higher ascribed status are more likely to be recognised and accepted by the peer group with higher achieved status.To sum it up,individuals’achieved factors and social similarity in the group function as major mechanisms in peer recognition among young adults.It implies that Chinese young adults come to a consensus on how to attain their social status or social acceptance among peers.
