Logic and Practical Dimension of Inner-Party Political Culture Construction in the New Era

党的十九届六中全会指出,坚持自我革命是中国共产党团结带领中国人民、历经千辛万苦取得的重要历史经验。坚持自我革命必须推进全面从严治党,必须发展积极健康的党内政治文化。加强党内政治文化建设遵循马克思主义政党本质规定的理论逻辑,契合中国共产党自身建设内在规律的历史逻辑,满足推进党的建设新的伟大工程时代需求的现实逻辑。然而西方意识形态渗透、利益多样和思想多元、“三个跟不上”使党内政治文化的控制力、竞争力和凝聚力面临着解构、弱化、消解等风险。加强党内政治文化建设就要从“破”与“立”、“古”与“今”、“中”与“外”、“知”与“行”等方面综合发力,在破除沉疴中树立新风,在坚持继承中发展创新,在以我为主中开放包容,在理论认知中付诸实践。

The Sixth Plenary Session of the Nineteenth Central Committee of the Communist Party of China pointed out that insistence on self-revolution is the Party’s important historical experience throughout its uniting and leading Chinese people through untold hardships. The Party’s insistence on self-revolution calls for promoting comprehensive and strict Party governance and developing a positive and healthy intra-party political culture. Following the theoretical logic stipulated by Marxist political party essences, and strengthening its intra-party political culture construction conforms to the Party’s historical logic in its inherent self-construction laws, and meets the times’ realistic logic needs to promote the new party construction project. However, the permeation of Western ideology, the diversity of interests and mentalities, and “Three Failures to Keep Pace With” bring about deconstruction, weakening, and elimination risks for the control, competitiveness and cohesion of the Party’s political culture face. To strengthen the intra-party political and cultural construction, it is necessary to make comprehensive efforts from various aspects, combining “destruction and construction”, “past and present”, “domestic and international”, “knowledge and action”. It is critical to establish a new fashion style by breaking up backwardness, develop innovation through insistence on inheritance, remain open and tolerant with self-oriented adherence and apply theoretical knowledge to practice.
