汤斌理学思想与廉政实践

Tang Bin’s Ideology of Neo-Confucianism and Practice of Incorruption Government

清初理学名臣汤斌,其思想融合程朱陆王,归本于躬行实践,为官30余载,恪尽职守、不徇私情、廉洁公正、清正爱民,深得康熙皇帝信任和百姓爱戴。汤斌的廉政实践是和他的理学思想分不开的。从天理层面看,天理的客观性与价值性在其政治实践中表现为明物理与明事理的统一;从心体层面看,汤斌把仁作为心之体,仁的至善性、感通性在其政治实践中表现为爱民与利民的统一;从工夫层面看,汤斌注重修身与躬行,政治实践中表现为律己与奉公的统一。这种统一体现了传统儒家内圣外王、修齐治平的价值追求,对当前廉政文化建设有着重要借鉴意义。

Tang Bin is a famous Neo-Confucianism minister in the early Qing Dynasty. His thought intermingles with the four schools of CHENG, ZHU, LU and WANG, which attributes to practice. Tang Bin, as an official for thirty years, is diligent, just and well-trusted by Emperor and respected by common people. Tang Bin’s practice of incorruption government is not separable from his Neo-Confucianism. From the perspective of natural principle, the objectivity and value of the natural principle in Tang Bin’s political practice shows that nature and reason are unified. On the level of spirit, Tang Bin views Ren as nature of spirit. The supreme kindness and empathy reflects the unity of loving and benefitting common people. In the point of ethics, Tang Bin stresses on the cultivation and practice, which integrates restraining ourselves and serving people. Tang Bin’s thought contains traditional Confucian school, inner sage and outer king. This can significantly help the construction of our current incorruption government culture.
