How to Teach"English Listening"in Adult Colleges

成人高校听力课时少,学生基础差且参差不齐,课后学习时间有限。面对这些教学现状,听力教师需要做到因材施教,选择合适的教材,讲授内容由浅入深;注重学生心理因素,在课堂活动中,激发学生的学习兴趣;利用网络资源,增加课堂教学的趣味性和丰富性。文章通过对成人高校英语听力教学存在的问题及改进策略展开的研究,希望能够对现行成人高校的听力教学起到一定的借鉴作用。

Fewer courses for English listening,low and uneven student English level,and limited time for studying after class are the status quo of adult colleges and universities.To solve the problem,teachers should strive to teach their students according to their aptitude,choose the right teaching materials and employ step-by-step teaching approach.They should pay more atention to students’psychological factors and motivate their interest in learning with carefully designed classroom activities.Also,teachers should take advantage of network resources to enrich their classes,making the learning activities more enjoyable and practical.It's hoped that this paper will provide reference for the course"English Listening"in all adult colleges.
