State translation institution:Connotation and categories

国家翻译制度是维护国家翻译实践合法性、保障国家翻译实践顺利实施的基础。长期以来,国家翻译制度的系统研究被忽略,导致国家翻译制度实践缺乏理论支撑和引导。国家翻译制度理论研究需从国家翻译制度发展史及翻译制度实践加以总结和升华,以便对国家翻译制度的内涵、要素、类型等展开全面研究。本文界定“国家翻译制度”概念,尝试建构国家翻译制度的类型体系。

State translation institution constitutes the foundation for maintaining legitimacy and guaranteeing implementation of state translation program.However,the systematic researches on state translation institution have long been neglected,which result in the absence of theoretical support and guidance for its practice.The concerned study is expected to conduct a comprehensive study on its connotation,elements and categories on the basis of summarizing and highlighting its historical development and institutional practices.Therefore,the paper attempts to define the concept of “state translation institution” and to expound its typological framework.
