杨木基材表面处理对UV喷墨涂层性能的影响

摘要 UV喷墨打印技术越来越多地被用于装饰建材领域,从广告包装衍生到家居装饰、木制品覆面打印等,促进了对木质打印基材的应用研究。以杨木胶合板为基材,设置不同的杨木基材表面底涂工艺和不同的UV喷墨打印参数,通过UV颜料墨水喷墨在基材承印表面标版色块的附着力、耐磨性、粗糙度、硬度、光泽度和L a b值的测试,以及利用SEM表征颜料墨水喷印层与杨木结合的界面形貌,通过实验对比与观察,研究出基于杨木胶合板基材表面使UV喷墨打印层理化性能最佳的工艺方案。结果表明:在杨木胶合板上采用透明漆工艺处理并以200%质量分数白墨喷印铺底打印的标版色块试样,其附着力和硬度最佳;涂刷透明底漆和白底漆等底漆工艺能够有效提高承印面的平整度,减少UV喷墨涂层的粗糙度;白墨喷印层能有效提高涂层耐磨性和硬度,但在平整度较好的表面打印时,由于其及时固化的特点会使粗糙度有所提高;彩色墨水与白底漆的结合力不及与白墨铺底的处理方式;杨木胶合板的色泽偏黄,在不覆盖底色的前提下打印会使图案光泽度有所降低,图像饱和度偏高。 UV ink-jet printing technology has characteristics of non-contact printing,fast curing,and environmental protection.It can print on various flexible and rigid materials,such as advertising paper,cloth,leather,acrylic,metal and other roll or plate.In addition,it can be utilized across the field including indoor and outdoor advertising,packaging derived to the home area of decoration,and wood production.With the improvement of the nozzle manufacturing technology,ink quality and the optimization of software program,especially the diversification of printing substrates,it has been more and more used in the furniture,decoration,building material industries.At present,in the furniture industry,the UV ink-jet printing using more substrates are medium density fiberboard(MDF),oak and other hardwood.Poplar has characteristics of whiter color,shallow texture,long and rich fibers,being used to prepare plywood,fiberboard,core-board and other panels.Poplar can be used as UV spray painting decorative substrates,and the painted wood can be utilized as great internal decoration materials.In this experiment,different poplar substrate surface coating technologies and different UV ink-jet printing parameters were investigated.The adhesion,wear resis-tance,roughness,hardness,glossiness,and L a b value of UV pigment ink jet plate color block on the substrate were examined.The interface morphology of pigment ink-jet printing layer and poplar wood was characterized by SEM,and the optimum process scheme of the UV ink-jet printing layer based on the surface of the poplar plywood was studied through the experimental comparison and observation.The results showed that the adhesion and hardness of the standard color blocks were obtained using the transparent paint process on poplar plywood and printing with 200%white ink.Painting transparent primer and white primer can effectively improve the surface smoothness,reduce UV ink-jet coating roughness.The white ink printing layer can effectively improve the wear resistance and hardness of the coating.However,when printing on a smooth surface,the roughness would be increased due to the characteristics of fast curing.It was found that the combination of color ink and white primer was not as good as that of white ink;the color and luster of poplar plywood were yellow,under the premise of not covering the background color print would make the pattern gloss somewhat reduced,the image saturation was high.
