清至民国时期青岛地区番薯传播及其影响研究

摘要 粮食生产是国富民强的根本保证。清至民国时期,青岛地区人口大量增加,人地矛盾尖锐,自然灾害频发,人口与粮食问题更加突出。番薯高产、耐旱、耐瘠薄,能保障最基本的粮食供应,得清政府推广,青岛及周边地区迅速扩种,并与莱阳等地区形成环胶州湾集中产区。番薯在与当地传统作物竞争中取得优势地位成为主要粮食作物,并成为青岛地区居民的主食,但也导致居民的饮食结构由多样化转向单一化。 Grain production is the fundamental guarantee for a rich country and a strong people. From the Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China, the population in Qingdao area increased greatly, the contradiction between the number of people and the land was acute, natural disasters occurred frequently, and the problem of population and food was more prominent. Sweet potato is high-yield, drought resistant and barren resistant, and can guarantee the most basic food supply. It was promoted by the Qing government. It was rapidly expanded in Qingdao and surrounding areas, and formed a concentrated production area around Jiaozhou Bay with Laiyang and other areas included. Sweet potato has gained a dominant position in the competition with local traditional crops and become a major food crop. It has also become the staple food of Qingdao residents. However, it has also led to the change of residents’ dietary structure from diversification to simplification.
