依恋理论视域下《杜兰葛山庄》中的人物心理风格探析

The Analysis of Attachment Style in Hotel du Lac From the Perspective of Attachment Theory

安妮塔·布鲁克纳的小说《杜兰葛山庄》再现了安妮塔、埃迪斯和詹妮弗等女性不同的原生家庭背景、不同的依恋风格以及她们面临爱情和婚姻时作出的不同抉择。从心理学依恋理论视角来看,三位女性人物安妮塔、埃迪斯和詹妮弗都体现出了明显且各异的依恋风格特点:疏离型回避依恋风格、焦虑-痴迷型依恋风格和安全型依恋风格。论文从依恋理论入手,分析了《杜兰葛山庄》中三位女性人物迥异的依恋风格,探究了其依恋风格形成的原因和背景,阐释了依恋风格对其婚恋观的影响。

Anita Brookner’s novel Hotel du Lac depicts Anita,Edith,Jennifer and other females’ different backgrounds of original family,attachment styles,and choices when facing love and marriage.Seen from the perspective of psychological attachment theory,the females Anita,Edith and Jennifer in the novel embody distinct and different attachment styles:dismissive avoidant attachment style,anxious-preoccupied attachment style,and secure attachment style.Starting with attachment theory,the thesis analyzes three female characters’ different attachment styles in Hotel du Lac,probes into the forming reasons and background of them,and explains their influence on attitudes toward marriage and love.
