Research on the Influencing Mechanism of Lead Userness on Innovation Intention

摘要 鉴于领先用户对企业创新的重要价值,研究其创新意愿的影响路径对激发领先用户创新热情、丰富企业创新来源有积极意义。构建基于计划行为理论和自我决定理论的整合模型,以科学仪器用户为研究对象,探究领先用户通过自主动机及态度、主观规范、知觉行为控制等因素进而影响用户创新意愿的内在机制。研究结果表明:领先用户特征直接正向影响用户创新意愿;自主动机和知觉行为控制在领先用户特征与用户创新意愿的关系间发挥中介作用;领先用户特征通过自主动机与态度、知觉行为控制组成的链式中介作用间接影响用户创新意愿;主观规范负向影响用户创新意愿,与理论预期不相符,导致包含主观规范在内的两条路径按遮掩效应立论。通过研究领先用户创新意愿的影响因素,探索激发领先用户创新热情的多种路径,进而为企业管理者提升领先用户创新积极性提供理论依据和管理建议。 Considering lead users’ commercial value,the researches on influential factors on lead users in innovation intention will not only contribute a lot to the access of lead users’ innovative ideas but also enrich the corporate innovation sources.This study aims to revealed that autonomous motivation and attitude,subjective norms,perceived behavioural control act as significant bridges between the lead userness and users’ innovation intention,integrating the theory of planned behavior and self-determination theory in instruments context.The major empirical findings of the research are as follows.First,users’ lead userness has a positive relationship with their innovation intention,and autonomous motivation and perceived behavioural control mediate this positive relationship.This means that lead user who possess advanced skills can contribute to enhance the generation of innovation intention,and enable companies to gain more profits.lead userness indirect impact their innovation intention through the chain mediating effects of autonomous motivation with attitude and perceived behavioural control.inconsistent with theoretical expectations,subjective norms have a negative effect on users’ innovation intention,which result in two path coefficients including subjective norms are negative.Based on the findings,this study is expected to provide useful implications for the research stream about the effect of lead userness on their innovation-related activities,as well as potential managerial contributions for enterprise manager to inspire innovation enthusiasm of lead users.
