As a new form of miniature smart library,smart bookcase is getting rapid development and application.In order to facilitate readers to have a more comprehensive understanding of smart bookcase,this paper makes a comprehensive analysis of its current status and development.The definition,development history,working principle,key technologies and application scenarios of smart bookcase are introduced by using the method of combining the key literature with practical working experience.The advantages and disadvantages of the products which use various technologies are discussed,and the research direction and development trend are summarized.The maturation and batch application of smart bookcase technology (especially UHF RFID) will promote the rapid development of miniature smart library,which has broad market application prospects.
