层级结构一致性对汉德跨语言句法启动的影响研究

Effects of embedding level on German and Chinese cross-linguistic syntactic priming

本研究以汉德双语者为实验被试,采用针对与格转换结构的句子补全任务探究层级一致性对跨语言句法启动的影响。结果发现:1)在与格转换结构的选择上,汉—德启动方向呈现双宾与格偏向,德—汉启动方向呈现介宾与格偏向;这可能与目标结构的处理难度以及使用频率等因素有关;2)层级一致性效应在汉—德启动方向中不显著,但在德—汉启动方向中显著;跨语言启动效应受到语际句法相似性和局部层级一致性的影响。研究结果对探究双语句法信息的共享程度具有重要启示意义。

Using sentence completion tasks, the present study investigates the role of level of embedding in cross-linguistic syntactic priming with Chinese-German bilinguals. The results reveal that: 1) participants have a preference for the DO structure in priming from Chinese to German and a bias toward the PO structure in priming from German to Chinese. This difference is possibly due to some factors, such as frequency and the processing difficulty of the target structure;2) level of embedding is not a necessary prerequisite for cross-linguistic syntactic priming from Chinese to German, but it plays an important role in the opposite direction;cross-linguistic priming effects may be influenced by interlanguage syntactic similarity and level of embedding. The results have important implications regarding the extent to which syntactic information is shared between languages.
