“Four History”education is collectively referred to education on the history of the Chinese Communist Party,the history of the Republic of China,the history of reform and opening up and the history of socialist development.This paper explores the necessity of integrating the“Four Histories”education into the teaching practice of ideological and political courses,the inherent relationship between the"Four Histories"education and ideological and political courses,and the practical paths of integrating the“Four Histories”education into the teaching of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities.The specific practical paths involve the education authorities of colleges and universities,the construction of teachers’teams,the establishment of an online platform and the full use of the large ideological and political courses.Through the above specific measures,this paper will promote a better integration of the“Four Histories”education into the ideological and political courses in colleges and universities,which can enhance the ideology,theory,affinity and relevance of the courses..
