太平天国运动对城市空间形态的影响研究--以苏州古城为例

The Influence of the Taiping Rebellion Movement on the Urban Spatial Form:Taking Suzhou Ancient City as an Example

自1851年金田起义,太平天国战火一路向北,蔓延了大半个中国,城市空间形态发生了巨大的变化。为恢复城内秩序,太平天国实行了一系列军事化管理政策,城市变成战争的堡垒。太平军败退后,城市不再像以往一样迅速恢复,空间形态发生了深刻的变化。该文以苏州古城为例,回顾太平天国在苏州的战火,剖析当时太平天国政府对苏州古城实行的城市管理措施以及太平天国战败后苏州古城的修复演变,重新勾画出太平天国影响下的城市空间图景。

Since the Jintian Uprising in 1851,the war of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom has spread all the way to the north,spreading more than half of China,and the urban spatial form has undergone tremendous changes.In order to restore order in the city,the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom implemented a series of militarized management policies,and the city became a fortress of war.After the Taiping Army’s defeat and retreat,the city no longer recovered as quickly as before,and the spatial form had undergone profound changes.Taking the ancient city of Suzhou as an example,we reviewed the wars of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom in Suzhou,analyzed the urban management measures implemented by the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom government on the ancient city of Suzhou and the restoration and evolution of the ancient city after the defeat of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom.
