On the Printing of Chu Bamboo Slips

20世纪50年代以来,随着大量楚简不断出土被发现,整理、研究楚简文字的著述也不断问世。书法篆刻界与时俱进,积极吸纳最新的楚文字研究成果,并对其简化、繁化、异化现象进行考察,以同文互证方法对楚简文字与楚玺文字作对比研究,归纳、总结出墨书变形的种类与特点,为楚简书入印提供了理论与实践基础。

After the founding of People’s Republic of China, the works that focus on the collection and study of the Chu bamboo slips keep being published, as numerous Chu Bamboo slips are discovered and unearthed continuously. The calligraphy and seal cutting circles keep abreast with the times, actively absorb the latest research achievements of the Chu characters, and research into the simplification,complication, and alienation of the characters. By using the method of mutual verification of the same text, the researchers make comparative studies of the Chu bamboo slip characters and Chu seal characters, summarize the types and characteristics of the transformation of ink calligraphy, which provides a theoretical and practical basis for the Chu bamboo slips to be printed.
