POA教学理念指导下的大学英语课程思政教学案例探析

A Case Study on Ideological and Political Teaching in College English under the Guidance of POA Teaching Concept

大学生处在价值观形成和确立的关键时期,抓好学生这一时期的价值观养成十分重要。因此,作为大学里受众面最广的课程之一,大学英语课程除了要培养学生的听、说、读、写、译等语言技能外,还应重视学生的价值塑造和能力培养。在POA教学理念指导下,以课文Athletes Should Be Role Models的教学设计为例,探讨在大学英语教学中如何深挖思政元素,把价值塑造和能力培养自然融入知识传授的过程。

College students are in a critical period during which their values are gradually formed and established.It is very important for teachers to lay emphasis on the cultivation of students’values in this period.Therefore,as one of the courses with the largest audience in colleges,College English should not only focus on the cultivation of students’language skills such as listening,speaking,reading,writing and translation,but also actively pay attention to mould students’values and train their abilities.In this paper,the author takes the teaching design of a text Athletes Should Be Role Models under the guidance of POA teaching concept as an example and discusses how to dig out the ideological and political elements in College English teaching,and how to integrate students’value moulding and ability training into the process of knowledge imparting.
