Summary of the best evidence for non-pharmacological treatment of behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia

目的检索、评价和整合痴呆患者精神行为症状非药物治疗的相关证据,为临床护理实践提供循证依据。方法系统检索关于痴呆症精神行为症状非药物治疗的所有证据,包括临床实践指南、专家共识、证据总结和系统评价,检索时限为2017年1月-2021年3月。对研究进行方法学质量评价后,对证据进行提取与汇总。结果共纳入22篇文献,包括3篇指南、4篇证据总结和15篇系统评价。涉及治疗原则和具体症状的治疗2个方面,共计25条最佳证据。结论研究总结了痴呆症精神行为症状非药物治疗的最佳证据。证据表明,非药物治疗在改善BPSD方面优于常规护理,且无不良反应的报告。

Objective To search,appraise,and summarize the best evidence for non-pharmacological treatment of behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia patients,and to provide evidence-based basis for clinical nursing practice.Method A systematic search of non-pharmacological treatments for psychiatric and behavioral symptoms of dementia was conducted for relevant literature,including clinical guidelines,expert consensus,evidence summaries,and systematic reviews from January 2017 to March 2021.After evaluating the methodological quality of studies,the evidence was extracted and summarized.Results A total of 22 articles were selected,including 3 guidelines,4 evidence summaries,and 15 systematic reviews.Twenty-25 items of best evidence were synthesized into 2 categories concerning therapeutic principle and the treatment of specific symptoms.Conclusion This study summarizes the best evidence for non-pharmacological treatment of behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia.Evidence suggests that non-drug therapy improves BPSD due to usual care.No adverse reactions were reported.
