Process and Evolution——The Adaptation of LiaoZhai ZhiYi in Japan

“翻案”是日本接受中国文学的主要方式。从历史的角度考察《聊斋志异》在日本的翻案状况,可窥探《聊斋志异》在日本的译介与受容状况。《聊斋志异》自1768年随商船传入日本,便在少数汉学家之间传阅、翻案。20世纪50年代始,伴随着全译本问世,日本近代作家对聊斋故事的翻案进入兴盛时期,聊斋故事获得芥川龙之介、太宰治、安冈章太郎、森敦等作家青睐。进入新世纪,聊斋翻案余温尚存,但亟待思考并着眼未来寻找对策。

“Adaptation”is the major pattern for Japan to accept Chinese literature.Through the investigation of the adaptation of LiaoZhai ZhiYi in Japan from the historical perspective,its translation,introduction and acceptance could be deeply explored.LiaoZhai ZhiYi was introduced to Japan along with merchant ships in 1768.From then on,it had been circulated and adapted in minority sinologists.Since 1950s,with the publication of the full translation,the adaptation of LiaoZhai ZhiYi from modern Japanese writers has been in a prosperous period.Which helped the original work won the favor of writers,such as AKUTAGAWA Ryunosuke,DAZAI Osamu,YASUOKA Shotaro,MORI Atsushi.In recent years,although the study of the adaptation of LiaoZhai ZhiYi is past its prime,it is still urgent to find new countermeasures to reexamine it.
