In china’s art industry, after thousands of years of precipitation, brick carving ornamentation not only has exquisite craftsmanship, but also has diversified shapes, giving consideration to the beauty of softness, simplicity and elegance. It is widely used in classical architecture, and its appearance forms include not only architectural structure,but also decorative elements and cultural symbols. The unique humanistic and artistic characteristics of brick carvings often make them used in the process of modern environmental technology design. This paper mainly explores the specific application strategies of brick carving decoration from its functions, application methods and principles in modern environmental art design.
