涉港宣传措辞研究与建议:基于批评认知语言学的国际用语考察

A Research and Proposal for the Optimization of Hong Kong-related Wording:An Investigation of International Word Usages on the Basis of Critical Cognitive Linguistics

本文从国际背景出发,考察“独立”、“分离”、“分裂”的使用情况并加以借鉴,进而对我中央政府涉港宣传提出优化建议。本文以语料库统计英、美中央政府、苏格兰、加利福尼亚四个视角下的措辞选择,并以批评认知语言学理论分析相关语境的价值观。研究发现苏格兰、加利福尼亚地区多以“独立”自我称谓;英中央政府会使用“独立”和“分裂”,但会以语境消解“独立”的褒义色彩;美中央政府基于该国历史文化则会使用贬义化后的“分离”。本文据此建议我中央政府修正对乱港行为和人员“(香)港独(立)”的称谓,冠之以“分裂行为”、“分裂分子”。这可完善我中央政府涉港措辞,在内抢占宣传制高点,在外争取国际舆论支持,从而以微观层面的语言政策研究维护我国家安全。

This paper investigates the usages of“independent/independence”,“secede/secession”,and“separate/separation”under the international background,so as to optimize our Hong Kong-related publicity wording.This paper calculated the word choices of the British and USA central governments,Scotland,as well as California,and analyzed the axiological features of the relevant contexts.The results showed that Scotland and California use“independent/independence”for their promoted referendums;the British government uses both“independent/independence”and“separate/separation”,but bleaches the positive word meaning of“independent/independence”by the context;the USA government uses“secede/secession”on the basis of the American history and culture,with a negative context as well.In view of the above findings,this paper proposes that our central government use“separate/separation”and“separatists”instead of“Hong Kong independence”to term the illegal behaviors and behaviorists at Hong Kong.The optimized wording can benefit our central government both domestically and internationally,which is the contribution of this micro level language policy study to our national security.
