“辨章学术,考镜源流”的活用——林继中先生讲授《柳永论稿》札记

摘要 “辨章学术,考镜源流”是学术及学术史研究的基本却重要的方法,在传统学术方法指导下,通过“义理、辞章”的文本细读以及“考证”的应用,追溯源流,分清真伪、是非与价值,以达到“实事求是”之目的。林继中先生《文学史研究方法例说》课程,以《柳永论稿》为切入点,通过细读本书,领悟上述方法要义,其中围绕“核心材料”的论述、以新角度发现“新”材料、大容量注释以及多向思维的方法等无不体现林先生对“辨章学术,考镜源流”深刻而独到的理解,也体现出先生所主张的补偏救弊、推陈出新的文化理想与学术追求。 The study of academics and academic history is to “sort all masterpieces or academic schools”,to seek their whereabouts and to make a judgment on their truth, value and significance by reading through texts under the guidance of traditional research methods, so that truth can be sought from facts with the application of “examination”. Therefore, the tracing of sources, the comparison between superiority and inferiority and the distinction of good from bad are all its basic functions. However, its cultural and academic aspirations are more deeply embodied in the rectification of deviations, corrections of errors, and cultivation of the new out of the old. It can help newcomers acquire a good understanding of the sources of their academic subjects without a lengthy period of blind exploration, thereby facilitating access to their academic subjects.
