Objective To investigate the relationship between the secretion level of thyroid stimulating hormone(TSH)and the levels of free triiodothyronine(FT3),free triiodothyronine(FT4)and urinary iodine in pregnant women. Methods The study was conducted from May 2019 to February 2021,the study subjects were 211 pregnant women.Study Group:124 hospitalized pregnant women with iodine deficiency were selected, with an average age of(24.6±2.2)years old and an average gestational age of(32.4±1.6)weeks.Control group:87 pregnant women without iodine deficiency were selected, with an average age of(26.7±1.9)years old and an average gestational age of(31.6±2.3)weeks.The relevant data were detected by radioimmunoassay(IRMA),and the test results of the two groups of pregnant women were analyzed. Results The levels of FT,FTand urinary iodine in the control group were significantly higher than those in the study group, the level of TSH was lower than that in the study group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was a negative correlation with the serum TSH value of pregnant women. Conclusion TSH level detection for iodine deficient pregnant women could show the thyroid function and iodine nutrition level of pregnant women. As a clinical detection method,it was worth popularizing and applying in the prevention of iodine deficiency disorders in pregnant women.
