The configuration of intelligent lightning protection monitoring technology in large-scale port crane equipment can achieve good lightning protection effect,monitor the working state of lightning protection equipment in real time,and effectively collect basic data such as the number of lightning strikes,which provides the basis for the lightning protection management of port cranes.In this regard,this paper introduces the importance of lightning protection for port portal cranes,and then expounds the relevant contents of lightning protection schemes for cranes and improves the original lightning protection scheme of crane equipment,focusing on the design and application effect of intelligent lightning protection system,so as to improve the lightning protection level of port portal cranes and ensure the safety of operators and equipment.
